Peckham kids to dance on stage alongside reggae stars

HELPING HAND: Levi Roots

BUISNESSMAN Levi Roots has booked a children's dance group from Peckham, south east London to perform on stage at the One Love Peace Festival.

The Peckham-based collective will get the chance to dance at the Wembley Arena event that includes performances from Busta Rhymes, Shaggy, Sean Paul and Levi Roots himself.

The Reggae Reggae Sauce creator, who is also a budding reggae singer, offered the invite after he was blown away by the kids dance routine to his ‘Dance Wicked’ track which features Dancehall star Beanie Man.

Dance choreographer to the Vigorous dancers troupe, Everton Chambers said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for our dancers. They have been working so hard for a break like this and Levi has made it possible. It's made everyone feel so proud of themselves.”

The One Love Peace Festival is set to take place Sunday, July 31.
