Julianah Omolara Awokoya, 51, died on January 16 after she was knocked down by an Audi A8 vehicle outside a McDonalds in Camberwell Green.

The 38-year-old male driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

A post-mortem found that she died because of multiple trauma injuries.

The suspect has been bailed to a date in April pending further inquiries.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to provide more information to help their investigation into Awokoya’s death.

Officers wish to trace the driver of a white vehicle which was travelling in the direction of Elephant and Castle at the time of the accident, because they may have witnessed the fatal collision.
