Police appeal over Ealing stabbing

POLICE ARE appealing for witnesses following a non-fatal stabbing in Ealing, west London last month.

During the incident on January 19, an 18-year-old man was knifed in the arm at a premises in busy shopping district, The Mall. He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged.

It is believed that the teen was approached by four unknown males before he was attacked, one of which, tried to steal his mobile phone. When the victim refused, the suspect then threatened him with a knife.

To try and escape, the victim ran and sought refuge in 'Mr Ben Barbers Shop' in The Mall. But the suspect caught up with the victim and stabbed him in the left arm.

The suspect then made off and is believed to have got on a 207 bus towards Ealing Broadway.

The suspect is described as a black male, aged between 18 and 25, and is approximately 5ft 8inches tall.

He is believed to have been wearing a baseball cap, a dark puffer jacket and dark blue baggy jeans.

DC Reuben Pearson, said: "This was an unprovoked attack on a young man at a busy time of day in Ealing Broadway.

No arrests have been made.
