Police officer joins ‘planking’ craze

CAUGHT: Officer 'planking' on what is thought to be a police van

A PICTURE showing a police officer in Bermuda taking part in the controversial ‘planking’ craze has hit the net.

In one of the grainy images posted on Facebook, a female police officer is seen ‘planking,’ which is a practice where individuals lay face down in the most bizarre locations, on what appears to be a police van.

Bermuda’s police commissioner, Michael DeSilva has since sent an official warning to his officers instructing them that they are required to “conduct themselves at all times in a professional manner and with professional decorum,” reports the Bermuda Sun>/i>.

In a statement, DeSilva expressed his “disappointment” at the controversial photograph.

He said: “The Police Code of Conduct requires members to conduct themselves at all times in a professional manner and with professional decorum.”
