Police seek woman over Croydon arson attack

SOUGHT: Officers believe this woman can help with their enquiries

CROYDON POLICE have released a picture of a woman they want to speak to in connection with an arson attack at a family home in southeast London.

Officers were called to a property in Grove Road, Thornton Heath, at 10.20pm on Sunday, November 11, following reports of a fire.

A woman in her 40s and three children were taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation, but later discharged.

It is believed the fire was started deliberately and officers are investigating the incident.

Detective Constable Eric Somerville, of Croydon CID, said: "We're very keen to identify who this person is so that we can progress with our enquiries.

"The fire could have had devastating effects so we would urge anyone with information to contact us immediately."
