Rampage back at Notting Hill Carnival after one-year break

BACK AND BIGGER THAN EVER: The Rampage crew

AFTER A one-year break, award-winning sound system Rampage will return to Notting Hill Carnival this Bank Holiday Weekend (Aug 28-29).

Back just in time for Notting Hill Carnival's 50th anniversary, Rampage is preparing to get the party started and to celebrate caribbean culture, tradition and influence in the UK at Europe's largest carnival.

The sound system was forced to drop out of the two-day event last year after "their main sponsor pulled out last minute," according to their spokesperson.

Rampage is the largest static sound system at Notting Hill Carnival with over 15,000 people at any one time.

Notoriously known as the best stage at the carnival, the award-winning Rampage sound system has delivered star-studded shows with appearances from the likes of UK acts including Dizzee Rascal, Mark Ronson, Ms Dynamite, Wiley and Tinie Tempah to best-selling international artists like Shaggy, Sean Paul, Swizz Beatz, Buju Banton, Ryan Leslie and Lloyd.
Known as the first DJs to ‘multi genre’ mix and also the first to perfect ‘multi deck mixing,’ Rampage has done gigs as far afield as Kenya, Hungary, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Miami, Atlanta, Cyprus and Ibiza.
