Romelu Lukaku destiny hinges on next Chelsea manager

ROARING SUCCESS: Lukaku bags another goal for the Baggies (PA)

CHELSEA’S LOANED out striker Romelu Lukaku must wait and see on the identity of the next Blues boss in order to discover where his future lies.

The 20-year-old Belgian has been a revelation at West Brom this season scoring 17 Premier League in the process, but it is still unclear if his parent club will want him on the books for the start of the new campaign.

Nonetheless, Lukaku made his intentions clear about where he wants to play.

“Chelsea are still my dream club and I want to be successful there”, he told BBC Sport.

“If the new manager has plans for me, I will go there and take my chance.

“I have to talk with the new manager”, the centre-forward added.

Lukaku, whose father played international football for Zaire, has not yet managed to score a goal so far in his Chelsea career.

He joined Stamford Bridge from Anderlecht in 2011 for an undisclosed fee that reportedly could rise £17m.

Commenting on what his future holds, he said: “West Brom really launched my career.

“Chelsea was a bit difficult and a lot of people were doubting me but I kept believing in my qualities. I work hard and, with the help of the fans and the club, I just could not fail here.

"All I am doing now is just keeping my head on my shoulders. I will concentrate on my next international games with Belgium, go away on holiday, then come back for pre-season training and we will see what happens."
