Following in the footsteps of Grammy-Award winning US fusion band Snarky Puppy, whose recording session for We Like It Here took place in front of a live audience, Standring will be accompanied by a full band and 2 string quartets. Dollie Henry an internationally renowned and respected jazz choreographer with her BOP dancers will be performing on selected tracks during the concert as well as a number of special guests the first singer confirmed is soul sensation Mica Paris, with additional guests to be added in due course.

Tri Polus are the promoters and Jazz FM are the media partners for the event. Nigel Williams of Jazz FM:

“As someone who has been listening to great jazz artists for decades, when I heard Chris play live, I felt that his music would translate beautifully to CD but that there was an edge to the sound that can only really be captured live. This event offers the best of both worlds and is a great way of embracing both the traditional concert-going experience and advances in the way we can listen to music.”
