Spotify to host London gig with Cardi B, J Hus and more

NEW GIG: Cardi B, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, J Hus and more set to perform at the Spotify London gig

SPOTIFY IS set to host its first ever live music event In the UK this November at London’s Alexandra Palace. Who We Be Live promises to be a celebration of the best of urban, grime and hip hop from the UK and beyond, all under one roof, inspired by the Spotify playlist which features the very best in Rap and Grime.

The event, which takes place on Thursday November 30 at the iconic north London venue, will see some of the biggest names in urban music performing in front of some of their greatest fans on Spotify.

Who We Be is curated by Spotify’s in-house urban music team, led by Senior Editor, Austin Daboh, and is one of Spotify’s most listened-to playlists in the UK, with over 140,000 followers. The event will bring to the stage some of Who We Be’s most popular and exciting urban artists, including Bugzy Malone, Cardi B, Dizzee Rascal, Giggs, J Hus and Stefflon Don.

The event marks an exciting milestone for streaming service as they move into the live music arena and continue their investment ands support of the UK urban music scene.

From tomorrow (Sep 9), Spotify will be emailing fans of the artists performing (that is, the fans who listen the most actively to those artists), and followers of the Who We Be playlist in the UK, with an opportunity to purchase presale tickets.

General tickets will be available at 10am on Monday September 11.
