KILLED: Darryl McClymont
A CAR at the centre of a murder investigation has been recovered in after a successful police appeal.
The silver Mazda 3, which belonged to 23-year-old victim Darryl McClymont, was driven away from the west London scene of his death by three unidentified men on December 29. It was recovered in south London.
Darryl was stabbed in Ferney Meade Way, Isleworth at around midnight. Officers are continuing to work to establish the circumstances of and any motive for the killing.
His car was driven away from the scene by a driver, with two passengers also inside.
The passengers have been described as black men, aged in their early to mid-20s, of proportionate build and wearing dark clothing. They were seen attempting to lift Dharyll’s body at the west London scene before getting into the car when they were disturbed.
The car then drove out of the estate.
There is no description of the driver, who remained in the car.
DCI McFarlane said: "Were you in the area of the murder at around midnight on Saturday (29 December 2012) into Sunday (30 December 2012)? If you have seen any of the events leading up to the murder or immediately afterwards, I would urge you to get in touch as soon as possible."
