TEENAGE ENGLAND winger Raheem Sterling has signed a new five-year contract at Liverpool worth £30,000-per-week.
The Jamaica-born 18-year-old was initially earning £2,000-per-week on a youth contract but has been rewarded for his excellent form this season that has seen him make his international debut last month.
The former Queens Park Rangers youth player told Liverpool’s official website: "There's a lot more to be done. As the manager has said, I haven't begun yet.
"It's every 18-year-old's dream. I'm just really grateful to be at such a big club like this.
"Hopefully I can kick on after the New Year and try to do my best for the team and the football club."
Sterling has started 16 league games this season, scoring once and creating two assists.
He made his international debut for England on November 14 against Sweden.
