'Superstar pastors have failed!', says Kirk Franklin

Gospel star says there is a lack of 'humility' amongst some high-profile church leaders

HARSH WORDS: Kirk Franklin

When gospel singer Kirk Franklin was asked to preach at mega-church, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas, Texas, he had some harsh words for pastors.

The TV star claimed that they had lost their influence on their families and young people because they were too busy empire building.

He also said: "I personally know all of the superstar pastors and churches that have crashed and failed over the past seven years and the thing that hurts me the most is that I hardly ever saw any humility among these church leaders."

Ouch!

Kirk Franklin is correct but he is a big hypocrite. All Christians are Kings and Priests unto God and are supposed to live a holy Life separated from worldliness. Kirk Franklins wins awards and live super star lifestyle singing worldly music.

Indeed the bible stated that unless our righteousness exceeds the scribes and the Pharisees we shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Jesus said be ye Holy as I am Holy.

The question I would like to ask Mr Franklin is. Does your righteousness exceed that of these super star pastors? Answer- certainly not - So I suggest you take the beam out of your eye before you take the moat out of you brother’s eye you hypocrite.

These super star pastors are already in hell they are plain and simple church pimps and frankly Mr Franklin you are camping under the same banner in exactly same place.
