Three bailed over Bank Holiday stabbing

STABBED: Marvin Hogan

THREE MEN arrested in connection with the murder of an east London man have been bailed pending further inquiries.

On Wednesday (June 6) a 14-year-old, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old were arrested following the fatal stabbing of 28-year-old Marvin Hogan in Leyton, east London, the previous day (June 5).

A post-mortem gave cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.

Mr. Hogan, who lived in Leyton E10, was in his silver Vauxhall Astra in Windsor Road, when it appears he was approached by a number of men and an altercation occurred.

He was stabbed in nearby Thornhill Gardens. The incident is not thought to be gang-related.

An incident room has opened under DCI Graeme Gwyn (Homicide and Serious Crime Command).
