Tia Mowry shows off culinary skills with new cooking show

SERVED UP: Actress Tia Mowry

SISTER SISTER star Tia Mowry Hardrict will welcome fans into her home with a new cooking television show.

While her twin sister Tamera is holding it down over at FOX’s The Real, Tia just announced that she'll be showing food lovers how to serve up some delicious meals with her new programme, Tia Mowry at Home on The Cooking Channel from April 2015.

The actress and mother-of-one, took to Instagram to share the good news: "Hey guys!!! I’m so happy to announce I HAVE A COOKING SHOW!!! TIA MOWRY AT HOME! Over the years, my fans have become familiar with my style on the red carpet. Now, I’m excited to share my style in the kitchen, and a more personal side of my life."

Viewers can expect "a variety of flavours" based on the different cities the Twitches star has lived in and an array of "tasty and tempting foods" that make her hubby Cory and son Cree smile, such as grilled lollipop lamb chops to cornish game hens.

Michael Smith, general manager and senior vice president, Cooking Channel said: "Tia Mowry is a welcome addition to the Cooking Channel family. Audiences have watched her grow up in front of the camera. Now, they will get a taste of her passion for preparing home cooked meals, and a look inside her life as a full-time mother and working actress."

As well as showing off her culinary skills, Tia will give fans the opportunity to look into her daily life activities including an impromptu basketball session from Metta World Peace, an outdoor yoga lesson with instructor Alex Crow and a play-date with her son.
