Tiffany Haddish signs Netflix deal; Mo'Nique speaks

TIFFANY HADDISH has signed a deal with Netflix - and despite her issues with the streaming service, Mo'Nique has voiced her happiness for Haddish.

Mo'Nique asked fans to boycott Netflix earlier this year, after the streaming giant offered her $500,000 for a comedy special.

She was disappointed because the amount was much less than what her fellow industry mates such as Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, and Amy Schumer had been offered, reportedly close to the million dollar mark.

“I couldn’t accept that low offer, because if I did … I couldn’t sleep at night,” she said. “If I accepted $500,000, what does Tiffany Haddish have coming? If I accept that, what does the black female comedian have coming? Because what they’ll say is, ‘Mo’Nique accepted this and she’s got that.’ So what do they have coming?”

Although we don't know how much the Girls Trip star was offered, she did reveal that she signed a contract before the controversy with Mo'Nique went public.

A Twitter user tweeted: " If @TiffanyHaddish gets a multimillion @netflix deal at the level of @amyschumer it’s because @moworldwide stood up????????‍♀️#facts #TheBreakfastClub."

Haddish replied, and said: "I already got a deal and I signed it way before she said a thing and its not legend money but its enough to take care of my family for min. #Facts"

That's when Mo followed up saying: "You've done nothing wrong my sister. You KEEP SHINING! I am proud of you. You keep doing what your doing. You are making it better for the next ones. Luv u 2 life."
