Troubled comic Katt Williams 'arrested' over fight with teen

ARRESTED: Katt Williams

TROUBLED US comedian Katt Williams has allegedly been arrested and remanded in custody after footage emerged of him in a fight with a 17-year-old.

CBS 46 reports that Williams was picked up at his home in Gainesville and is set to face a judge today (March 31).

While performing at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on Friday (March 25), Williams explained he had joined Luke Wash and his friends in a game of football and that his team was winning when his teenage opponent began to talk some “sick s***” so he had to teach him a lesson.

The two men then got into a verbal argument according to Williams, which escalated when the 42-year-old comedian said to the boy: “Listen, you know I’m in trouble with the motherf****** law, you see all these people recording.

“But just understand if I can take your a** around this motherf****** corner, I’ll explain to you, you don’t talk to grown n***** like that.”

None of this was captured in the video, but Williams claims soon after this exchange is when the fight broke out between the pair.

The comedian is then seen punching the teen in the face, who responds by getting the comedian in a headlock before bystanders broke up the brawl.

However, the teen has a completely different version of events.

“We were playing a game of soccer and I just thought it was a soccer game, but stuff happens in sports,” he told DailyMail.com.

“He took me over to a secluded area and asked me to hit him and I was like, ‘I'm not just going to hit you. You want to square up?’

“And then he sucker-punched me so I did what I did.”

This is now the third time in the past month that Williams has been arrested by police in Atlanta, Georgia.

He was picked up on charges of aggravated assault, terrorist threats, and false imprisonment after police found evidence suggesting he had ordered a woman to beat his bodyguard with a baseball bat while he threatened the man's life in late February.

Williams was then arrested the day after that incident when he punched a clerk at a pool store.
