Two wins for Jamaica in men’s 110m hurdles

IT'S A double win for Jamaica as Ronald Levy and Hansle Parchment take gold and silver on day six of the Commonwealth Games.

IN THE men’s 100m hurdles, Jamaica’s Ronald Levy leaped his way to victory as he finished at 13.19 seconds. Hot on his tail was fellow team player Hansle Parchment who took home silver coming in at 13.22 seconds. In third place, Nicholas Hough representing Australia won the bronze medal with a time of 13.38 seconds.

The winning streak has continued into the Women’s Triple Jump with Jamaica’s Kimberley Williams achieving gold at 14.34 seconds followed by teammate Shanieka Ricketts at 14.52 seconds.

Lindon Victor sees success across the board with his win of the Men’s Decathlon. The Grenadian athlete finished with a total of 8303 and was followed by Canada’s Pierce Lepage and Australia’s Cedric Dubler.
