REALITY STARS: Kylie Jenner, 17, will reportedly star in Tyga's new reality TV show
US RAPPER Tyga and his teenage girlfriend Kylie Jenner will reportedly officially announce that they are a couple on the hip-hop star's new reality television show.
MTV2 is premiering a new reality show next month that offers an inside look at the life of the rising star. On Kingin' With Tyga, the Rack City rapper and his crew indulge in his lavish lifestyle that includes everything from fast cars to a zebra. And according to reports, he's managed to steal Jenner away from her family's reality TV show so she can be part of his.
"It is no coincidence that Kylie changed her name on her social media to ‘King Kylie,'” an insider told Radar, insisting that it’s just one sign she is joining his show.
Radar also reported that the show, which premieres on July 24, will not only showcase the couple’s talent, but will also be the platform for their announcing their relationship to their fans when Jenner turns 18 years old on August 10.
“Unfortunately, because it premieres before she turns 18, they do not want to show that she is his girlfriend in the beginning and will wait until she is an adult to work it in,” the source continued.
The insider also claimed that Jenner is preparing for a music career and the new show will help promote her talent.
“Kylie is very serious about getting into music now and has been since she started vocal training a year ago. With a show on MTV, a show on E!, help from her brother-in-law Kanye West and Tyga by her side, she will definitely have a fair shot.
“She knows her vocals have to be on-point or she is going to get laughed right out of the business,” the source added.
