I strongly believe Tyrese made the above statement to redeem and defend himself from the critic's above stated comment. I'd say smart move since it only took a second before he realizes it's the black women who are buying his music, not white.

That crock about chosing the "best" and none of the black women qualified as such for his music video sounds ludicrous to me. Who is he kidding. He is clearly ignorant judging by his statements. I neither listen to or buy his music. The "black sister's" need to see him for who he truly is, a bigot.

But in all fairness, I notice a lot of music videos by black artistees now feature mostly white girls, even though they can't drop it and shake it like black girls. For a booty shaking scene they are quick to get a black girl to do that.

The 'sisters' look more white than black these days, so you're still getting back towards the whites, Tyrese! LOL! You'll make it one day and so will 'the sisters' turn completely white! LOL! - pathetic!

In the US where I live, it appear white women chase the paper money that is in CEO, rappers, ballers, etc. whether black or white. Successful black men from my viewpoint seem to chase white women(trophy wives as they have been called) because they can and they(ww) make themselves available. Some more and more black women become bearers of future white women's men and husbands. That what it is seeming like to me.

Sad to say, but as a black women I stop dating black men years ago. There are no better from the US to the UK. I find them boring and always more interested in sex and no you as a person. And as soon as they "hit that" they are sout of there and on as Jay-Z raps, "on to the next one" They forgot to wear condoms in the process and another unplanned and most times unwanted child pops out 9 months later. I just can't admire the way they run off and leave black mother or possibly white mother to parent without any support, this happening time and time again. They discourage me to father their child because I refuse to be classed as another single black female with child(ren) and no father. I preferred to at least wait until I am married and in a stable relationship. If divorce happen then that's a risk I'll take.

God bless the black fathers who stick around, but they are too few in comparison to the size of the black male population.

As for Tyrese and his comment, sounds like hot air to me. But them again he has been blowing a lot of hot air recently. Last week or so it was a black man should have more than one wife or something to that effect. Then I heard he is writing or planning to write a book about how men should treat women. Based on his ignorant comments in the above article, he should abandon the whole book idea, really.

P.S. And don't tell me about mixed-race children: I used to live next door to a white woman with a mixed race child who, when she considered he'd done something wrong, used to insult the boy in the most racist and sickening way. I felt so sorry for him. He was just a kid - so please, don't waste your time telling me about the 'virtues' of getting involved with white women! Tell it to the Marines, mate!

Loves his sister but I think he he is lost in his own fame. I think that african americans can be deluded as to what is really going on when the get any success.
