SPEEDSTER: The 20-year-old in action
WALES HAVE called up uncapped winger Eli Walker into their 35-man squad for the forthcoming Six Nations in February.
The 20-year-old, who plays for Welsh side Ospreys, has impressed in the Heineken Cup this season having scored tries against Treviso and Toulouse.
A Wales under-20 international, the speedster is one of five uncapped players to be selected by Wales interim head coach Rob Howley.
Howley told BBC Sport: "We have put together a very experienced squad and complimented that by rewarding the in-form players with a call-up.
"The players in the squad have been playing really well and we have been pleased with their individual performances.
"We have a group of players who know how to win big matches and have experienced success. We are adding to that, players who have stood out and performed well for the regions this season."
Wales, who are the reigning Six Nations Grand Slam winners, open their campaign against Ireland at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on February 2.
