West Indies captain prays for those affected by hurricane

AWARE: West Indies leader Jason Holder

WEST INDIES captain Jason Holder has said that he and his team mates have kept those caught up in the Hurricane Irma devastation in their prayers.

The hurricane has wreaked havoc across the Caribbean, flattening buildings and killing at least seven people,.

Holder, whose team are currently playing at Lord’s in the third Test against England, said: “We urge people to stay safe, (all) we can do is pray for them as well.

“Luckily I think it’s passed Antigua and those islands going up, and hasn’t affected them that badly. But it’s obviously heading towards some other islands up the northern chain.

“We know what’s happening back home but we’ve got to be professional. It’s a momentous game. There’s a lot to play for. Our guys are really up for it."
