West Indies win toss and decide to field in ICC opener

NEW LEADER: Dwayne Bravo won the toss

NEW WEST Indies captain Dwayne Bravo won the toss and elected to field in the Caribbean outfit's opening ICC Champions Trophy match against Pakistan at The Oval.

Bravo, who also face India and South Africa in Group B, were looking to add the 50-over tournament to their unexpected World T20 success last October when they beat hosts Sri Lanka in the final.

The man that led The Windies to their World T20 win, Darren Sammy, was not in the starting XI for the Oval fixture. Also left out were Jason Holder, Devon Smith and Tino Best.
