Whats The Play? with Anthony 'Play' Douglas

COMEDY GREAT: Mr. Play with Chris Rock

ON MY return from the US, it was great meeting with Chris Rock on the final leg of his world tour in the UK! Comedy is a great way to bring people together as well as addressing important issues in society.

He covered serious and current topics such as relationships and bullying in a comical way – overall it was an enjoyable and entertaining show.

LEFT TO RIGHT: Latin Prince (DJ City), Phat Phillie, Mr. Play and Chuck 'Jigsaw' Creekmur

I spent the last week stateside as my final kick off to 2018!

Despite, NYC being near to freezing, the warm and friendly faces I re-connected with made up for it! I had the pleasure of catching up with Phat Phillie (founder of Fresh Island), Chuck ( – the first platforms to promote US and world rap music!), and LP “Latin Prince”. We spoke about various overseas initiatives between Croatia, London and New York!

Mr. Play with DJ Ominaya

I also spent time with DJ Ominaya (DJ for The Wendy Williams Show), who showed me around his city from Harlem to Brooklyn and the Bronx! I discussed future plans and collaborations with Casanova, an East Coast hip hop artist known for tunes such as Left, Right Feat. Chris Brown and Fabulous and Go Best Friend. Watch this space…

I also got to witness the hype and excitement as many New Yorkers followed the last NFL playoff weekend. I’m looking forward to catching the Super Bowl LII this week with The Patriots vs. Eagles!

I managed to turn up the heat and fit in some nice sunshine and relaxation in South Beach, Miami and met with UK friends Frisky DJ and FEKKY and further networked. Spoke to DJ Calvin, ATL about his visit to the UK in the coming months with Artists Russ & Bogus – look out for them! DJ Power from Toronto and I also discussed plans on bettering the culture both sides of the pond.

Jordan Morris

Now, Let’s Talk (R.n.Brit) Music with Jordan Morris

Following his signing with RnB Legend, Tank and the RnBMoney label, singer-songwriter Jordan Morris has been in the studio consistently working on his new sound.

Born and raised in north-west London, JM has been consistently building his sound over the last few years. Nobody But You represents a coming of age, an arrival into the complete truth of his own self-discovery.

“I’ve finally found my organic place, it has zero compromise, when you’re honest with yourself the music reflects that,” he said.

By the sound of this new music, it seems Jordan Morris is going to have a huge year ahead and we're looking forward to hearing his first project.
