Young Antiguan set to sail away with scholarship

FOLLOWING THE hard work and talent demonstrated by Antiguan Jalese Gordon of at the recent Youth Emerging Nations Programme Regional Performance Clinic (a respected outpost of world sailing) she has been selected onto the Emerging Nations Programme (ENP), Youth Worlds Performance clinic and Youth Worlds Scholarship, 2017 in Sanya, China in the Laser Radial Class.


The Scholarship will consist of a pre-event training clinic along with full event support. The clinic in December will run up to three days directly before the Youth Worlds and will continue straight into the 2017 Youth Worlds over December 9 - 16.

As a scholarship attendee, Gordon will receive travel cost coverage, airport transfers, pre-event training (including boat charter, accommodation, and food) and Youth Worlds entry fee coverage (including boat charter, accommodation and food).
