'The difference between reading a newspaper and reading news on social media'

SOCIAL NEWS DELIVERY: Facebook and Twitter are prime mediums of receiving and disseminating current affairs (PA)

THERE ARE many things people must do in order to achieve their goals of a successful business project.

One of the most important is to keep yourself informed of everything that is going on in the world and how it can affect or benefit your particular line of business.

Here you will be able to differentiate the differences between reading a newspaper to get your information and reading the news on a social media platform.

For starters one of the most attractive and helpful things about digital news releases is that you can read your news while you download a business report or any file that you might need to work on during the day.

This kind of multi-tasking is very valuable for people who are working on the lock and they don’t have a minute to spare during the day.

People are used to having their news delivered to them in paper and they always get to read only what has been printed every morning without being able to do any kind of follow up.

One of the greatest advantages of using social media to read your news is that most articles or news updates will usually include very helpful links that can make it easier to find out a lot more on any subject you have read about.

You can also have access to related topics that might be of interest to you in order to get a better idea of the topic but also be able to hear what others think, discuss the news, share it with those that aren’t aware of the news and also give your opinion.

With a newspaper, you have to read it and that’s it.

Another very important thing that makes both of these methods to get news quite different is that with social media it becomes very easy for you to share relevant news with other people.

Let’s say that you have found out about a very important change in the stock market and you need to let a lot of people at your office know about this as soon as possible.

If you only had a newspaper, you would have to call every single one of them or wait until you meet them at work. With social media this is not going to be a problem and you will be able to easily share this news with the click of a button.

The visual aspect is also going to be very different since newspapers are usually very blurry when it comes to images even if they have color. If you use social media you can have HD image quality to provide anything that is necessary in order to make the news report more powerful and valuable. There is also the possibility to include video that is freely distributed by networks such as YouTube.

At one point people could have argued that the newspaper is easier to carry around to read the news while you are driving to work or when you are having lunch, but thanks to the advances in technology now we can carry all the respectable news sources on our smartphones and we can get news feeds delivered 24/7 from any location as long as we have internet access in the device.

Also, when you use social media you have an easier way to allow people to contact you. You can provide an email address or a contact form that will send you information immediately once people click on that send button. This is a very important difference between printed news and digital news.

These are some of the basic important but relevant differences between printed news and digital news.

Hopefully more people become more welcoming and will realise how important it is to use social media in modern times as it is the way forward.
