Fighting back for workers, Unite is taking Trade Unionism into the tens of thousands of unorganised workplaces in Britain and Ireland. Working from Organising Units in the Union’s 10 Regions, each headed by a Senior Organiser, the Organisers / organisers in training work as a team in a National Organising Structure, led by Unite’s Organising Department. It is hard work in sometimes tough circumstances. But there will never be a better opportunity for those who want to make a difference.

The following vacancies are currently available:

ORGANISERS / ORGANISERS IN TRAINING

Pay: £31,427.00 - £33,627.00 (Band 7)

The Organisers / organisers in training must have the ability to engage with people, identify leaders and motivate workers to take action. Experience might include both the world of work and wider campaigning, for example, in the community. As well as workplace representatives, a tenants leader or childcare campaigner might have the skills necessary to organise workers.

Normally based in LONDON & EASTERN but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in SOUTH EAST but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in IRELAND but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in SOUTH WEST but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in EAST MIDLANDS but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in WEST MIDLANDS but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in WALES but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in SCOTLAND but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in NORTH WEST but flexibility to work as and where required
Normally based in NORTH EAST but flexibility to work as and where required
