Funny: Bill Bellamy

THIS WEEK sees the first ever Black Tie Comedy Awards, taking place at London’s Indig02.

It’s an event that will highlight the top talents in the urban comedy scene. Hosted by MTV Base comedian Kojo and top model Rachel Whitfield, this is a night not to be missed.

There will be a host of celebrities present to hand out awards, a performance by new r’n’b artist Cherri V, and a live set from actor/comedian Bill Bellamy, star of Def Comedy Jam and hit movies The Brothers and Any Given Sunday.

Nominated comedians include Slim, Kojo, Eddie Kadi, Gina Yashere, Donna Spence, Felicity Ethnic and Richard Blackwood.

All the voting was done by the public, so you are the ones honouring the guys and gals that go out of their way to put a little sunshine in our lives.
