RAVEL MORRISON was beaming after his two-goal performance for the England Under-21s in a 5-0 victory against Lithuania but did not comment on an incident that saw him and Wilfried Zaha come to blows during the match.

The West Ham midfielder, infamous for behavioural problems that have resulted in police cautions and court fines, appeared to fly off the handle at Zaha after a free-kick had been floated into the opposition’s box.

Both players came together while going back into position, and Morrison is seen pushing the Manchester United forward in the face before Zaha shoves him right back.

Nathan Redmond then comes to the rescue as peace-maker, putting himself between the two hot-tempered young men – the Norwich player proceeds to drag Zaha away from further confrontation.

Morrison chose to ignore the incident and concentrated on the positives on the thrashing handed out by Gareth Southgate’s boys.

He told West Ham TV: “I'm very happy with the performance on my second game for the Under-21s.

“I've found it great being part of the squad.

“I've come in and the lads have treated me well and I've got on with everyone really well so it's been good.”

Morrison has impressed with his form so far this season, the highlight being his incredible solo goal against Tottenham from a 55-yard run that saw the Hammers beat Spurs 3-0 in a Premier League clash at White Hart Lane.
