THIS WEEKEND the FA CUp semi-finals take centre stage. Holders Arsenal will be looking to reach another final when they take on Championship Reading on Saturday evening.

The Gunners will hope that star men Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud will bring their shooting boots to the home of football. Reading boss Steve Clarke will need all his top-flight experience to defeat Arsene Wenger's men.

Clarke will need the likes of the mercurial Hal Robson-Kanu to be at their very best if the Royals are to make the May 30 final.

On Sunday afternoon Aston Villa play Liverpool in the second semi-final. Tim Sherwood would appear to have steered the Midlands clear of relegation since he arrived at the club early in the new year. Sherwood has got striker Christian Benteke firing and he will be the mostr obvious threat to the Reds.

Brendan Rodgers' can count on the talent of Philippe Coutinho and Raheem Sterling to provide his team's goal threat. Striker Daniel Sturridge looks set to miss out with yet another injury.

It is set to be another fascinating FA Cup semi-final weekend!
