‘Love Island’ contestant ‘could be sued’ by former employer

LOVE ISLAND contestant Samira Mighty gave her employers’ one days notice before quitting her job in musical theatre.

The 22-year-old was apart of the Dreamgirls cast at London's Savoy Theatre before she appeared on the ITV2 reality series.

Her unexpected resignation has prompted the company, Sonia Friedman Productions, to seek £3,000 in compensation from the actress and have since removed her name from their cast list.

An anonymous source told reports that “she won’t walk into a job any time soon. Her name is mud and her behaviour totally unprofessional”.

Although Mighty is yet to find romance on the island, she has teamed up with NHS doctor Alex George. The pair has stayed together in a bid to remain in the competition until they meet ‘the one’.
