Appeal to find missing elderly man, 74, from south London

MISSING: Hubert Salmon

POLICE IN south London are appealing to the public for help in locating a missing man from Thornton Heath.

Hubert Salmon, 74, was last seen in Croydon Town Centre at around 3pm yesterday (Sept 24).

Officers and his family are concerned for his safety and wellbeing as he suffers from a number of medical conditions that require medication.

Salmon is described as black, about 5ft 5ins tall with a medium build, a grey beard and grey short hair.

He does not have his dentures in so is visibly missing some teeth. He is also known to walk with a stick, but it is unconfirmed if he has this with him.

He was last seen wearing a brown felt hat, a beige long-sleeved shirt, navy blue or black smart trousers, a cardigan, blue hip-length jacket with buttons. He could be carrying bags of groceries from Poundland.

Officers believe Salmon does not have access to transport and has no phone or money with him.

Anyone who has seen Mr Salmon or who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call police in Croydon via 101.
