Appeal to find missing woman from Reading

MISSING: Hoden Mohamed

POLICE IN Reading have issued an appeal to help find a missing woman.

Hoden Mohamed, 45, was last seen yesterday (Nov 10) at about 5pm at an address in Lynmouth Road.

Police believe she could have travelled to London because she has links to the East Ham area.

Mohamed is described as black, about 5ft tall, with curly shoulder-length black hair and wears a black head scarf.

According to police, she was last seen wearing a black jacket, brown boots, a long black skirt and had a handbag and walking stick with her.

Investigating officer sergeant Chris Wood, from Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who knows of Hoden’s whereabouts or anyone who has seen a person matching her description to contact the police.

“I am concerned for Hoden’s welfare as she does not have medication she requires with her and she has been missing for more than 12 hours. Her family is very worried about her.”

If you have any details of Hoden’s whereabouts please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers (opens new window) anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
