Ascot here we come!

HOST: Ascot racecourse

MARMAR & Associates, made up of Marcia Samuels and Maria Bryan, have secured Ascot’s prestigious Trackside Lounge on Ladies Day (June 21) which will play host to a plethora of Jamaican and Caribbean dignitaries as well as a number of high profile Jamaicans, friends of Jamaica and celebrities.

Samuels said of the eagerly awaited event which marks 50 years of independence for Jamaica: “Both Maria and I over the past months have been visiting Ascot and it is an experience we would like everyone to share, especially the luxury and hospitality.

“Our relationship with Ascot is a productive one and also a learning experience into doing business with the royal family’s representative.

“Jamaica has been welcomed and they are very excited to have us.

“Personally we have spent what seems like a liftetime over the last six months securing – at great financial cost – perfection for the occasion and we are now looking for thousands of Jamaicans, and others across the globe, to join us on this special occasion.”

Ascot’s Hospitality & Sales manager, Chris Wickham, told the Voice of Sport’s Rodney Hinds just what punters can expect at Royal Ascot.
