Bobby Brown lands new reality TV show

KEEPING IT MOVING: Bobby Brown

CONTROVERSIAL SINGER Bobby Brown has reportedly landed a new reality TV show with BET.

The network is said to be 'preparing a new project' with Brown, whose stormy marriage with late singer Whitney Houston was chronicled in his infamous 2005 Bravo reality series Being Bobby Brown.

Reports have claimed that the show will chronicle the 43-year-old's' life and businesses', following his recent departure from a rehab where he was said to have received treatment for alcohol addiction problems.

The singer’s decision to leave the undisclosed facility comes less than three weeks after he agreed to be admitted as part of a deal struck following his arrest for driving under the influence (DUI) in March.

A source close to the Brown family told RadarOnline: "Bobby is no longer in rehab, he decided he’s had enough treatment for his problems."

"When he first checked in, he promised his family and friends, including his New Edition band mates, that this time he was going to stay in rehab for the full treatment. That’s normally a 90-day programme."

The source added: 'Bobby’s family and friends are terrified, despite his pleas that he’s sober, that he will fall off the wagon once again. They’re not sure if he was ever serious about conquering his demons and have voiced their concerns.

'It’s difficult to believe someone going into rehab for alcohol addiction for such a short time is genuine about giving up drinking.'
