Boy, 15 arrested over mobile phone death

KILLED: Dogan Ishmail was fatally stabbed when trying to recover his brother's mobile phone

POLICE INVESTIGATING the death of a teenager killed over a mobile phone have arrested a 15-year-old boy.

His arrest follows a series of appeals by the Met, who had been trying to trace him, since the murder of Dogan Ismail on December 30.

Dogan, from Peckham, south London, was killed outside Latimer House on Aylesbury Estate after going there with his 15-year-old brother Orhan to recover his phone, which was stolen two days earlier.

They encountered a group of four males and during an "altercation" during which the victim was stabbed.

The teen remains in custody, Scotland Yard said.

Agency worker, Anthony Munroe, 18, has been charged with Dogan's murder and will appear at the Old Bailey on March 1.
