Brits arrested in Miami for credit card fraud

THREE BRITISH nationals were arrested and detained in a Miami jail after they were found in possession of stolen credit cards.

Manuel Princewill, 28, Shahabi Hooshang, 27, and Tracey Bush, 25 were all arrested after Bush was caught during in possession of a stolen card during a shopping spree.

When the card came back as a fraudulent, the owner of the store went to confront her, Bush fled. The owner then called police.

The three were later arrested in their suspected getaway car, which also contained a number of credit cards with PIN numbers hand written on the back of them

It is believed that the trio had been paid to travel from the UK to max out the cards, with a combination of purchases and withdrawals from cash points, in return for 20 to 25 percent of the profits

According to Miami Police, the suspects bought new iPhone 4s and expensive jewellery with the stolen cash.

Detective Rick Arias said: “They’re given counterfeited credit cards and they’re able to go shopping with those cards for things they keep for themselves.”

Each has been charged with passing fraudulent credit cards.
