Cardi B denies split from Offset is fake

RUMOURS: People are speculating that Cardi B's split from husband Offset is fake

CARDI B has denied that her split with husband Offset is all just a publicity stunt.

The Bodak Yellow announced via social media last week that she was no longer in a relationship with the Migos member.

But the timing of her statement, days before the release of Offset’s album, has led many to speculate that the split is not real and has been falsified to drum up publicity.

Cardi used Instagram Live to respond to the accusations. She said: "I really don't like how people say my and my husband — whatever he is right now to me — is doing it for publicity.

"I wouldn't put my family in a bad name for no f*****g publicity, 'cause at the end of the day, 10 years from now, my daughter, she's gonna be looking at these type of things and she's gonna be asking me about these type of things."

She added: "I've been seeing a lot of people say that my relationship was fake.

"B****, there's certain things called love. People do fall in love. Like, my relationship was never fake. I met this n****, he was on my a**, I gave him a chance and we fell in love with each other. Things was not always gravy, 'cause at the end of the day, we are two different people. But we never did anything for f*****g publicity, bitch. You think I got f*****g pregnant, could have ruined my career for f*****g publicity?"

The former couple previously had fans believing they got engaged on stage when Offset got down on one knee during a concert in October last year. But after TMZ obtained a copy of the pair’s marriage certificate, Cardi confirmed that they had in fact married in September, meaning they were already husband and wife at the time of the staged “proposal”.

She said: “There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments!”
