Cardi B's new album reveals surprising celebrity fans

FANS: Cardi B said the support she's received is overwhelming

IT'S BEEN a big weekend for Cardi B. The rapper has not only released her first album on a major label, she also officially announced that she’s pregnant with her first child.

During her guest appearance on Saturday Night Live, the Bodak Yellow rapper performed in a tight white dress, revealing her baby bump after weeks of media speculation.

Celebs have taken to social media to congratulate the star on both her professional and personal news.

Diddy posted a video on his Instagram account of himself dancing to I like it Like That, a song from Cardi’s new album Invasion of Privacy. In the caption he encouraged everyone to support the Bronx-based rapper by buying her new album.

“I’m proud of you, I’ve watched you evolve into the artist you are today. Keep pushing the culture forward, continue to be authentic and true to yourself!!! Everyone go get her new album right now #InvasionOfPrivacy LOVE!”

Oprah was probably the most surprising star to share her support for Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar.

A post on the official Oprah magazine Instagram account captioned a picture of Oprah smiling with her eyes closed as she apparently enjoyed Cardi’s new release. The caption accompanying the image said: “Listening to that new Cardi B album.”

Erykah Badu was also among those who praised Cardi. She said: “The realist. @iamcardib we watched you turn your empire to a wombniverse! What that says to me is if you can visualize it you can realize it. Keep giving haters a job bb [sic].”

Cardi has said the love she is receiving is overwhelming and thanked her supporters for their kind words.

Bardi baby and all, the rapper shows no signs of slowing down, something she assured her followers of. She tweeted: “I started winning when the whole world was doubting on me! think imma lose with my little baby counting on me?”
