Thinking about summer already?
Whether you’re planning a holiday, attending a wedding or just want to look your absolute best, there’s no other place to be over the spring Bank Holiday than Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE (AHBL).

Launching with a bold new campaign image – a nod to hit Hollywood film Black Panther and its celebration of African hair – the show itself is renowned for representing all kinks, curls and afro-textured hair. Organisers SAY L&S visitors will be spoilt for choice with some of the industry’s leading brands including Cantu, Palmer’s, Luster’s, Camille Rose Naturals and Avlon (to mention a few) offering free expert advice, live demos and exclusive promotions. Throughout the weekend customers can expect:

Give us your best shot
Let your hair down over by the main stage where you will be entertained by shows like Luster’s S-Curl’s, Battle of the Barbers and Beard Stylist and the final round of THE AHBL’s Instagram competition search for the hairstylist with the #BestShot.

For the fashionista in you
Fashion lovers will enjoy the experiential Afro pop-up themed area featuring a not-to-be-missed catwalk, showcasing talented new designers (follow on social media for details of model casting). If something catches your eye you can head over to the fashion marketplace and treat yourself to an exclusive design at special show prices.

It’s good to talk
As always AHBL is all about the visitors and this is reflected in the special line up of seminars and panels featuring topical discussions, including chef Keidi Awadu on living longer by consuming nature’s best medicine – food, The Importance of Representation (Curls Au Naturel) plus how to manage faith and hair by Culturing Success.

The new lifestyle aspect will be the place to relax and connect after walking around the show.

Tickets are available online via Eventbrite for just £14 (plus booking fee) at https://www.
