Fashion4Africa announces new modelling competition

FASHION4AFRICA has announced the search for its 6th winner of ‘Face of Fashion4Africa, a high-end models competition combined with the search for Fashion4Africa designer of the year a fashion show for an exclusive and diverse audience.

The competition will take place on Saturday September 9 at 7pm at the infamous Somerset House, also home to London Fashion Week and will be featuring 9 catwalk shows from various emerging designers and will host the very best established designers, models and entertainers in the fashion industry HOSTED by funny man Face of U Switch, ITV HUB Lateef Lovejoy.

The event will primarily showcase eighteen young, beautiful and handsome emerging models originating from the African continent. In addition to being an exceptional opportunity for the young models, the event will also include a shopping emporium showcasing the work of African designers and their finely crafted garments and accessories.

Some of the pioneers of market trading will be exhibiting such as Veronique Designs ‘Exquisite Stones from Africa, Pebbles Wearable and rich fabrics and designs from Ghana and Chiefo Nigerian wear made for Nigerian ‘Chiefs’ walking around in London however best of all is a fast pace aspiring Fashion designer ‘PAJA’ from Gambia will be debuting his first international collection sponsored by F4A & Redcoat Express Ltd.

The concept of this very exciting event is to provide young upcoming models and designers of African origin with an opportunity to shine and perfect their craft. The event will see models from the smallest country in Africa, The Gambia, to South Africa. One of our contestants is a white African, staying true to our “No Discrimination” motto.

Expect to spend a luxurious, cultured and highly sophisticated evening in London immersed in the company of talented and exciting faces of the next generation.
