NEW MOVIE: Will and Jaden Smith to star in M. Night Shyamalan film

FOLLOWING THE success of hit film The Pursuit of Happyness, Will Smith and son Jaden are looking to reignite their on screen magic with their new movie After Earth, it has been reported.

The superstar duo, who said they enjoyed working together on the 2006 film, will play father and son in the new movie directed by M. Night Shyamalan about the exploration of earth a thousand years after humans abandon it.

The film, scheduled for release in 2013, will also reportedly star Zoe Kravitz, daughter of rock singer Lenny, and actress Sophie Okonedo.

However, despite the online buzz regarding the pairing, many have said that another Hollywood Blockbuster may spell the end of Will’s marriage to wife of fourteen years, Jada in August.

Gossip website TMZ reported that it was their children's fame that caused a rift between Hollywood’s golden couple.

Will and Jada were forced to deny separation rumours after tension began to mount between the pair over how best to manage the careers of Jaden, 13, and 11-year-old daughter Willow.

It was reported that Will was determined to push his children towards greater stardom, while Jada wanted them to ease off and enjoy being children.

“Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false. We are still together, and our marriage is intact,” Will said in an August statement.
