Forest hoping to lure Ince away from Tigers

NOTTINGHAM FOREST may offer a lifeline to Hull’s Tom Ince as the winger struggles to get game time in the Premier League.

Tigers manager Steve Bruce has used Ince sparingly and not even picked him for the squad in the last month.

Forest sense they have an opportunity to snap up the 22-year-old wideman on loan for the rest of the season if they can persuade Ince to join.

The Championship club’s boss Stuart Pearce knows Ince well from his time managing the England Under-21 side, and is hoping to inject fresh blood into his side following a seven-game winless run.

It is not known if Bruce is willing to shed some of the younger members of his squad to gain experience elsewhere, but by keeping Ince he could benefit as the campaign goes on with fatigue and injuries becoming bigger factors.

Bruce signed Ince over the summer from Blackpool with major expectations surrounding the player. Although he has not yet fulfilled the hype, other Championship sides, including Blackburn and Derby, are also interested in signing Ince.
