Golden girl Jess looking to make it a happy anniversary

OUT FOR MORE GLORY: Jessica Ennis-Hill

GREAT BRITAIN'S Jessica Ennis-Hill has confirmed that she is scheduled to compete at the Anniversary Games Diamond League meeting in London’s Olympic Stadium.

The event which takes place from the July 24-25 will see the 2012 Olympic heptathlon champion return to the competition after the birth of her new son Reggie July 2014.

The 29-year-old will take part in her first heptathlon since London 2012 in Austria at the Hypo-Meeting.

Ennis-Hill remains “realistic” about getting back into shape as she targets the Rio Olympics in Brazil 2016.

An Achilles tendon injury disrupted her season in 2013, after an enduring handful of discipline events.

Since giving birth, the Sheffield athlete has resumed training since October 2014.

"My race schedule is starting to take shape and it will be good to compete," she said.

"My main goal this season is to be as competitive as possible with the long term goal being at the Rio Olympics,” Ennis-Hill said.
