Hit UK web series wins six awards at LA Web Festival

BROTHERS WITH GAME: The cast of the winning series

HIT UK web series Brothers With No Game has won a record six awards at the LA Web Festival.

The comedy drama, took home awards for producing, directing and editing, while the talented cast, comprised of David Avery, Isaac Sosanya, Zephryn Taitte, Jay Marsh, landed a gong for 'Ensemble Cast'.

Guest stars Zalika Miller and Dani Moseley also won awards for their contribution to the winning series.

Actor Zephryn Taitte wrote on Twitter: "Big praise for all involved with @TheBWNG we won Oustanding Production, Editing and Ensemble cast #LAWEBFEST thank you to all our followers"

David Avery added: "**Brothers With No Game** The Web Series has won 6 awards at the #LAWebFest!! Very proud to be a part of this team, well done @TheBWNG"

Set in London, Brothers With No Game follows the social and romantic lives of four friends facing a 'quarter-life crisis'.

The first episode, launched last year, received over 10,000 views in five days on YouTube and has over 170,000 video views to date.

Brothers With No Game, the creation of Justin Credible (JC), Maverick, Don Kwelu and The Yak - also responsible for the popular self-help website of the same name - has been featured in The Guardian newspaper, Pride magazine and US outlets, and Bossip. It was recently listed on The Grio (a division of NBC News) as one of the top web serials to watch.

Earlier this year, the creators launched a fundraising drive to help finance the second season. They raised over £3,000 and will start filming soon.
