FUN TIMES: A JN Money customer with comedian White Yardie

JN MONEY has expanded its agency network in the United Kingdom with the opening of a new location at TD News in Chapletown, Leeds.

The new location, which opened on Saturday (Mar 30), joins the JN Money network of some 10 branches and 40 agents across the UK.

Customers will be able to conduct person to person remittance transfers, make bill payments and transfer funds to accounts in Jamaica, USA, Canada and the Caribbean for as low as £1.99.

Dianne Augustin, Territory Manager, JN Money Services (UK) Limited said: “As a company that believes in offering convenience and affordability to our customers, we are proud to be back in Leeds serving Jamaicans and other Caribbean nationals by allowing them to maintain ties with their loved ones back home.

“Up to November last year, Jamaicans in the United Kingdom accounted for approximately 12 percent, or just over about £193 million which benefits the country in many ways. We are proud to be partnering with TD News to provide our low cost remittance services,” she added.

Thelma Campbell, owner/ operator for TD News, a convenience store serving Leeds since 2004, expressed delight about the budding partnership with JN Money.

“I am happy to now be able to offer the JN Money remittance service here, as the demand for it has been increasing. I am pleased to be partnering with a company that believes in offering affordable and convenient service to its customers and is serious about maintaining relationships between family members.

“Having JN Money here is also great for my business because it gives us a chance to contribute to national development and strengthening family bonds,” she stated.

As part of the official opening, customers also received giveaways and were entertained by comedian White Yardie who engaged the audience with humour and various activities that created a fun-filled atmosphere.
