Lauryn Hill ‘could be evicted from mansion’

ONE THIRD of former iconic hip-hop group The Fugees could be kicked out of their home after allegedly falling behind on their rent.

Singer and rapper Lauryn Hill might be evicted from her mansion in South Orange, New Jersey after she allegedly stopped making payments for their property in March, according to TMZ.

Hill’s landlord is taking the Ex-Factor hit-maker to court, ordering her to pay the rent or be evicted from the mansion, which she has been renting since 2009.

Having previously pleaded guilty to charges of failing to file her returns from 2005 to 2007, the 37-year-old mother-of-six is accused of owning more than £1 million to the taxman and faces sentencing on April 22.

Instead of spending time in prison, Hill requested probation in order to pay her debts.
