Man with history of violence missing from mental health unit

MISSING: Mark Ricketts

A MAN who absconded from a mental health facility and has a history of violence is being sought by police.

Mark Ricketts, 47, went missing on Saturday (Mar 22) at about 6pm from a mental health unit in Tooting, south London.

The Met said “extensive efforts are underway to locate him”, and the force are appealing for information leading to his return.

Ricketts suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and has previously been violent.

Members of the public should not approach him but call 999, police said.

He is described as black, 6ft 2in and of large build. At the time he went missing he was wearing a blue tracksuit top and bottoms and black trainers.

Ricketts does not have medication with him and officers are concerned about his condition.

Police have confirmed that he has now been found
