MC Harvey opens up about Alesha Dixon spilt

HAPPIER TIMES: MC Harvey with Alesha Dixon

SO SOLID star MC Harvey has opened up about his split from ex-wife Alesha Dixon in a candid discussion, televised last night.

The south London rapper told his Celebrity Big Brother housemates that he 'got off lightly' after his affair with singer Javine Hylton was exposed in 2006.

Talking to Danica Thrall and Jasmine Lennard, he said: “I was that girl’s world. Her eyes didn't go left her eyes didn't go right; I was her man, I was her husband.”

He added: “What made it worse is when she went I'll take what's mine and you take what's yours and get out of my life, and I was like "oh!”

“I got off lightly, she dealt with it graciously.”

He went on to rubbish reports that the pair locked into a bitter feud after their year-long marriage came to an end.

The 33-year-old said: “Since the day that I actually got divorced there’s never been one cross word or beef.”

Instead, he admitted that the thing he was most upset about was the hurt he caused by lying in church on the day he married the Britain’s Got Talent judge.

He said: “I regret the pain that I caused. I lied to God as we got married in a church.”

He also confessed that cheating on Alesha has made finding love harder and has since struggled to settle down.

The star added: “What makes it worse, every time I get serious with a girl they go back to that moment.”

MC Harvey and singer Javine, with whom he co-starred in West End show Daddy Cool, went on to have daughter Angel in 2008.
