THE BRAND behind store cupboard favourites National GIANT Hardo Bread and National Water Crackers is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year.

The National Baking Company (NBC) will be reminding customers why it has achieved this well-deserved milestone by offering discounted snacks and baked goods for sale at The Voice-sponsored I Love Jamaica Day at Capital city Academy, Doyle Gardens, Willesden, London, NW10 3ST on Sunday, July 30.


The NBC’s Country Manager, Odell Campbell, shared some of the secrets to the company’s longevity. She said:

“We take pride in making our customer needs our number one priority. Our Chairman, Mr. ‘Butch’ Hendrickson’s motto is, ‘If you think of your customers first, all your decisions will be easier’.

“We conduct business at National with this at the forefront of our minds when it comes to deciding which innovations and technology to invest in. We innovate in order to produce products of the highest quality and to stay relevant to the changing needs of our customers.

“Family care and support is also critical for us – most of our staff have been with the company 20 or more years.”

The NBC plans to make its entire range available at I Love Jamaica Day, and looks forward to offering exclusive discounts on popular items, as well as a variety of buns and cream crackers. As well as being ready to take home on July 30, NBC goodies can be found in independent shops in London, Luton, Bedford, Northampton, Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham Liverpool, Sheffield, Huddersfield, Bristol and Leeds.
