JN MONEY Transfer customers in the United Kingdom (UK) are responding positively to the new JN Money Services' website, which allows them to send money to Jamaica online, a first for the wholly Jamaican-owned remittance company.

“The United Kingdom is one of our largest markets and our customers have been requesting a service, which enables them to conduct timely transactions, any time of the day. We, therefore, launched our online service in the UK earlier this year, responding to their requests,” Horace Hines, Acting General Manager, JN Money Services, owners and operators of the JN Money Transfer brand, related.

“Many of our customers have already signed up to remit money online; and since launching the service we have seen a steady increase in traffic in terms of persons using the service. We are confident that this growth will continue especially as we introduce new products in the upcoming months," Mr. Hines explained.

He further noted that; “A new generation of Jamaicans in the UK are seeking safe, timely, affordable and convenient options to remit funds to Jamaica. Hence, our website enables them to transfer money from the convenience of their home, while in transit, or at work."

Wilfred Brown, a London resident and JN Money customer, said he signed up for the service because of the convenience.

"It was fast. I enjoyed using it. And, I plan to use it again, because I find it to be efficient and reliable” he said.

“Individual recipients in Jamaica will be able to access their transmitted funds at any JN Money Transfer outlet, or at ATMs using their JN Money Transfer Card," Mr. Hines explained.

He also pointed out that the website allows customers in the UK to send funds directly to their accounts at financial institutions, and pay bills in Jamaica:
